Genesis 2000 V9.1 Major New Features

Genesis 2000 Version 9.1

Major New Features
  1. DFM & Analysis
    • Gold Tiebar Creation - enables to automatically create a connection between the gold plated pads in the circuit to the gold tiebar that lies outside the profile.
    • Galvanic Etch Compensation - Compensates copper pads over-etched in the acid bath due to galvanic corrosion. Enables enlarging specific pads in nets with gold plated pads, while preserving spacing specification.
  2. Graphic Editor
    • Add Teardrop function enables the user to interactively create teardrops in special locations
    • Automatic PCB Numbering enables the user to automatically add an index number to the different steps in the panel.
    • Change Arc Radius allows the user to interactively change the radius of an existing arc
    • Reroute Trace allows the user to interactively reroute a trace, while keeping horizontal, vertical or 45 degree line segments.
    • Add a chamfered/rounded/oblong rectangular polyline enrich Genesis drawing capabilities by making it easier to draw complex outlines.
  3. Input
    • Supports the input of bitmap (.bmp, .jpg/. jpeg, .gif, .tif/.tiff) formats.
  4. Output
    • New Interface to Orbotech DI machines.

    • Supports the input of bitmap (.bmp, .jpg/. jpeg, .gif, .tif/.tiff) formats.
  2. Editor
    • S&R Fill Pattern - Consideration for specific features located on the PCB step but lying outside the PCB profile, which should be cleared by the fill in the panel
    • Add & Change Text:
        Support for multiple fonts
        Support for Chinese and Japanese input methods
    • Improved Space Tracks Evenly function
    • A new Release/Restore Step dependency function allows you to perform certain operations in the Job Matrix even when a dependent step exists
    • Snap to 45?angle for Pull Line
    • Add line at any defined angle
  3. Electrical Testing
    • Ability to Copy S&R table from Panel Step within the Netlist Optimizer and ETM
